Tragic News: Birmingham City Head Coach Divorces His Wife for…

Opinion: Leyton Orient should target Birmingham City man who is due to become free agent

Leyton Orient will be looking to bolster their attacking department ahead of next season.

Leyton Orient have missed out on the League One play-offs in this campaign but have still had a decent year.

They were promoted from League Two 12 months ago and have adapted well to the step up a league.

The O’s should boost their squad by landing Birmingham City forward Keshi Anderson on a free transfer this summer.

Leyton Orient should eye Birmingham City man

Anderson would be an ideal addition for Leyton Orient and would add more quality to their ranks.

He played with Richie Wellens at Doncaster Rovers back in 2015 and was then signed by the O’s boss at Swindon Town three years later.

The former Crystal Palace attacker was a key player for the Robins and scored 12 goals in 85 games for them in all competitions, helping them win the League Two title during his time at the County Ground.

He earned a switch to Blackpool off the back of his Wiltshire spell and he spent three years at Bloomfield Road, two of which were in the Championship.

Birmingham City then snapped him up last summer and he has played 22 matches for the Blues this term. However, his contract is up in late June and he is due to become a free agent as things stand.

Leyton Orient won’t be making wholesale changes over the coming months but will be the odd tweaks here and there.

Anderson fits the bill for the London outfit and would arrive with some decent pedigree having spent the past few campaigns in the division above.

It seems unlikely that Birmingham City will extend his stay, regardless of what league they are in, and a switch to Brisbane Road would help him get regular football under his belt which is what he needs.

The O’s have one more fixture left to play this weekend against Shrewsbury Town away.
